Why use our service?

We save our customers time and hassle, normally spent contacting multiple service providers, by removing the need to wait in phone queues to provide the same information over and over again. We offer you a single point of contact for all your connection and moving issues. How does it work?

Simply visit our website and select the services you require, agree to the terms of use, then relax. We’ll organise the rest. One of our connection specialists will contact you to discuss your needs. Alternatively, you can filling our online enquiry form or download our free ‘Connect My Utilities’ app and submit your request that way. It’s that easy!

How much does it cost?

There is absolutely no cost to you. We provide our service completely FREE of charge. You only pay the standard connection fees that you would pay your service providers. There are no hidden commissions or charges. It’s simply a ‘one-stop’ service that rewards users.

How is this service free?

Because the utility markets are open for competition, if you connect to a new provider using our service, we earn a fee. This is paid by the new provider and is part of what retailers pay their business partners to have customers join them. In turn, Connect My Utilities NZ rewards its customers for using its service with a selected retailer’s gift card*. *Please refer to the full terms and conditions.

Are there any obligations?

There is absolutely NO obligation. You can connect as many or as few services as you would like.

Are there service confirmations?

Yes, we try to ensure that all of your services are connected on time and as planned. All your connections are confirmed by email and SMS so you’re kept fully informed.

What else can you help with?

We can arrange cleaners, gardeners, locksmiths, truck hire, removalists, insurances, storage, maintenance and many more services generally needed when moving or maintaining a home.

How will I receive my gift card?

Once all your qualifying utilities^ are connected we’ll contact you to offer you a choice of a $30-$50 gift card from one of the following retailers; Babycity, Bunnings Warehouse, Countdown, Farmers, GrabOne, iTunes, JB Hi-FI, Mitre 10, Noel Leeming, Pak’n’Sav or The Warehouse. Please note, that it can take up to 60 days from approval for the gift card to be sent to you.
